Seongsan ilchulbong(Sunrise peak) - Beautiful place of Jeju island, Korea

Many people visit Jeju island to take a break from their messy and busy life.

Since Korea goverment always tried to preserve nature in Jeju island, you can experience the natural beauties in Jeju island.
And now I will introduce one of the most beautiful place of Jeju island.
The name of the place is 'Seongsan Ilchulbong(Sunrise peak)'.
 
About 5,000 years ago, Seongsan ilchulbong was formed as a result of a volcanic eruption.
Since it is located right beside the sea, you can enjoy the nice view of Seongsan ilchulbong with  the sea.
Especially Sunrise of Seongsan ilchulbong is fantastic.
So I visited there to take a picture.

If you visit farming villages in korea, you can see many dogs.
The type of the most of the dogs is 'Jindo dog'.

If you arrive Gwangchigi Beach early in the mornig, you can take a picture of a horse with Seongsan ilchulbong.

I recommend you to go to Gwangchigi Beach if you want to enjoy sunrise.
It takes only 15 minutes to get to Gwangchigi Beach from Seongsan ilchulbong by walk.
View from Gwangchigi Beach is more beautiful than view from Seongsan ilchulbong.

On the top of Seongsan ilchulbong You can see the landscape of the west of Jeju island.
