Yongmasan Mountain #2 - Beautiful place of Seoul, Korea

 

If the sky was beatiful, then I could take a picture of sunset of Seoul.

However It wat cloudy.

So I waited night to take a picture of nightscape of Seoul.

It is Lotter Wold Tower in Jamsil.

Yongmasan Mountain #1 - Beautiful place of Seoul, Korea

There are several mountains in Seoul where people can enjoy the city view of Seoul.
One of the mountains is Yongmasan Mountain.

Unfortunately it is not famous Mt. so only few people could experience the beautiful view from the top of Yongma mountain.

Now, I will share pictures of Yongma Mt. with you.

#1 Yongma Mt. station


If you want to climb Yongma mountain, you should stop at Yongmasan station.
There are 5 trails starting from the around of the station.

I recommend you to choose 1st trail since it takes only 1hour to get to the top of the mountain.
Also it takes same time using 2nd trail, but the way is very rough.


#2 Hillside of Yongma mountain

I could enjoy the view clearly since the weather was nice.
Unfortunately the sky is cloudy, but I was satisfied with the good visibility .

Jungnangcheon, a mounatin stream, flew in the heart of the Seoul.

There is an observatory right under the top of the mountain like the picture.
On the observatory, You can watch the overal city view of Seoul.
Since the observatory is made of wood , take care of the vibration if you try to use a tripod to take a picture.

Seongsan ilchulbong(Sunrise peak) - Beautiful place of Jeju island, Korea

Many people visit Jeju island to take a break from their messy and busy life.

Since Korea goverment always tried to preserve nature in Jeju island, you can experience the natural beauties in Jeju island.
And now I will introduce one of the most beautiful place of Jeju island.
The name of the place is 'Seongsan Ilchulbong(Sunrise peak)'.
 
About 5,000 years ago, Seongsan ilchulbong was formed as a result of a volcanic eruption.
Since it is located right beside the sea, you can enjoy the nice view of Seongsan ilchulbong with  the sea.
Especially Sunrise of Seongsan ilchulbong is fantastic.
So I visited there to take a picture.

If you visit farming villages in korea, you can see many dogs.
The type of the most of the dogs is 'Jindo dog'.

There is a hores around Seongsan ilchulbong.
If you arrive Gwangchigi Beach early in the mornig, you can take a picture of a horse with Seongsan ilchulbong.

I recommend you to go to Gwangchigi Beach if you want to enjoy sunrise.
It takes only 15 minutes to get to Gwangchigi Beach from Seongsan ilchulbong by walk.
View from Gwangchigi Beach is more beautiful than view from Seongsan ilchulbong.

If you enjoy the sunrise of  Seongsan ilchulbong, it is nice to climb Seongsan ilchulbong.
On the top of Seongsan ilchulbong You can see the landscape of the west of Jeju island.

Suwon Hawseong Fortrees - Beutiful place of Suwon, Korea

 

Beautiful place of the day where I want to posting is Suwon Hawseong Fortrees.

 

The fortrees was constructed during the reign of King Jeong-jo.

Suwon Hawseong fortrees was designated as a UNESCO world heritage site in 1997 because of its historical importance.

 

There are two reason why you should visit this fortrees.

The first reason is you can learn the history of the late Joseon Dynasty in the fortrees.

And the second reason is that view around the fortrees is very nice.

Furthermore, park inside of the fortrees is also good.

#1 Suwon Hawseong Fortrees

 

 

There are four gates of Suwon Hawseon fortrees.

This gate is called Janganmun gate.

The structure of Janganmun gate is interesting.

Half-moon shaped gate protects the main gate to improve the fortrees's defensive power.

So you can watch two doors in a row like the picture.

The nightscape of fortrees is also beautiful.

There are a lot of cars in front of the gate because it is located in the main street.

In my opinion, Nightscape of Soul is better than that of Honkong and Singapore and the others.

There is no need for words.
Just enjoy the scene.

You can easily reach the top of Namsan Mt since there is very large Namsan Tower.

Just walk toward Namsan Towr, then you get the observation platform.

63 Building is located at the center of the picture.

Even there are many buildings taller than 63 builing, a lot of Koreans consider it as the tallest building in korea.

Namsan Mountain #1 - Beautiful place of Seoul, Korea

I think the best plach where you can see nice landscape of seoul is Namsan Mountaion.

So I recommend you to climb Namsan Mt. if you want to feel the fantastic view of seoul.

Don't worry even if you don't like climbing.
It is very easy to arrive at the top of  Namsan Mt. since it is only 262 meters(860ft) high.
Furthermore the mountaion is located at the center of seoul.
So you can easily arrive at the Namsan Mt.

There is observation platform in hillsides of Namsan Mt.
You can reach this place by two ways.
The first way is to just climb by walk. It takes about 20 minutes to get this place.
The Second way is using cable car. If you arrive at the upper cable car station, then go down for 5 minutes.
I recommend the first way since the mountain is not hard to climb.

At this observation platform, you can see the overal view of seoul.
You can see Incheon if the weather is good.

I visit here very often because of the nice view.

Since the restaurant is located near the upper cable car station, You can comfortably enjoy the landscape.
